Using Landscape Fabric

Landscape fabric is a highly debated topic.. To use or not to use…..

In my opinion, there’s really only one scenario where you should opt for fabric. That’s if you’re using rocks instead of mulch.

In general, if you use fabric and lay mulch on top, as the mulch decomposes, weeds will sprout in it. Thus completely defeating the purpose of using fabric to begin with.

If you’re not using rocks, then don’t use landscape fabric!
